More Than a Number
Testosterone naturally declines with age, and stress, sleep and weight can push it lower. When it drops, you may notice it in your energy, drive, body and mood before you ever see it on a lab report.
At EVO, men’s hormone health and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) are one program. We look at the whole picture, including testosterone, thyroid and other hormones, and build a plan around you.
Signs of Low Testosterone
TRT may be worth exploring if you’re noticing:
- Low energy or afternoon crashes.
- Low libido or changes in sexual performance.
- Losing muscle or struggling to build it.
- Weight gain especially around the middle.
- Low mood or irritability that feels unlike you.
- Poor sleep or brain fog that slows you down.
Your TRT Plan
Your provider tailors every part of your plan to your labs, symptoms and goals.
Testosterone & More

Men’s Hormone & TRT FAQ
What is testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)?
TRT restores testosterone to a healthy range when your body is not making enough on its own. At EVO, TRT is part of men’s hormone health: your provider looks at testosterone alongside your other hormones, history and goals.
What are signs of low testosterone?
Common signs include low energy, low libido, trouble building or keeping muscle, weight gain, poor sleep, low mood and brain fog. Labs help confirm what is going on.
Do I need labs first?
Labs are not required, but we highly recommend them. They give you and your provider a true starting point, so your plan is built on real numbers and changes can be tracked over time. Labs can be drawn in our office or at a lab near you.
How is testosterone given?
All the common options are available, including injections, pellets, creams, troches and oral medication. Your provider will help you choose the best route.
Can I do my injections at home?
Yes. Injections can be done in our office or at home, whichever you are more comfortable with. We will show you how if you choose to do them yourself.
Do you prescribe other hormones?
Yes. Along with testosterone, your provider can prescribe thyroid, DHEA and other hormones when your labs and symptoms call for them, compounded when it helps to tailor your dose.
Will TRT affect fertility?
Testosterone therapy can affect fertility. If you are planning to have children, tell your provider so they can talk through your options before you start.
How often are follow-ups?
At least every 30 days, but think of it as concierge medicine: you can message your care team with questions at any time, not just at your scheduled check-ins.
Can I do this by telehealth?
Yes. Every appointment can be done by telehealth anywhere in Florida. You are always welcome to come into our South Tampa office instead.
Who provides my care?
Care is provided by our licensed medical providers and medically supervised by a board-certified physician.
Will I get specific results?
Every body is different, so we never promise specific outcomes. What we can promise is a plan built around you, regular check-ins, and a team that adjusts your care with you as you go.
Do you take insurance?
Our services are self-pay, and you can use your HSA or FSA card. Payment plans and EVO Bucks memberships, where members save 5–20%, are also available.
How do I get started?
